*Welcome to our new Pastor, Kathy McLean-Davis*
Rev. Kathy McLean-Davis is an ordained elder in the North Texas Conference. Prior to coming to Kaufman, she served on staff as an Associate Pastor at St. Andrew UMC in Plano. There her areas of ministry included preaching, women's ministries, pastoral care and resourcing as well as coordinating education ministries.
Prior to St. Andrew she was Senior Pastor of First United Methodist Church in Burkburnett, Texas near Wichita Falls. She has also served as Associate Pastor at First United Methodist Church in Coppell and First United Methodist Church in McKinney.
Kathy has also been Executive Director of the Prothro Retreat Center at Lake Texoma and a chaplain at Children's Medical Center in Dallas. She received her undergraduate degree from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls and her Master of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology at SMU in Dallas. She and her husband Jess Davis are the parents of three grown children and eight grandchildren. Jess works for the City of Plano as a compliance coordinator in the Parks Department.
