We are a diverse community of believers bound together by our relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe you will find a warm welcome at FUMC – Kaufman along with many opportunities to grow in your faith. In worship each week we show our love to Christ as we praise and celebrate. In service to those in our community and in our world we share Christ’s love with others. In study we grow deeper in our relationship with God and with one another.
We invite you to be a part of this community of believers and share this journey with us.

Boy Scout Coat Drive
The boy scouts are holding a Coat Drive starting November 20th through December 11th. Any new or gently used coats would be greatly appreciated. A collection bin is located outside of the church administration building. Contact Matt Pate or any Boy Scout for more information.
Youth Hat Drive
Through the morning of December 10, the high school and junior high youth classes are collecting hats, beanies, toboggans, etc.-- any head covering to donate the Children's Hospital of Dallas Cancer Center. This is a great event for our youth and church family. The collection box for drop off donations is located in fellowship hall. We will be delivering the items on the morning of December 10th followed by a lunch outing at the Downtown El Fenix location. Contact Matt Pate or any youth for more details
Toys for Tots, Local Outreach
FUMC hosts a Christmas toy drive to help out those parents that can’t afford to buy gifts for their children. We anticipate helping over 200 children this year. We get most of our donations from Toys for Tots Foundation, but we can’t count on them to provide some of the most popular or requested toys, books, and clothes. We call every parent that completes an application to get an idea of what each child would like for Christmas. Most of these children don’t ask for or don’t expect much, but we do like to give them something that would be special to them. You can help by placing a new unwrapped toy in the toy boxes in Fellowship Hall and the church office beginning the week after Thanksgiving.
Other opportunities to help:
Thursday, December 15 we will meet at Fellowship Hall at 6pm to sort toys and fill each application.
Saturday, December 17, 9-12 will be toy pickup. We will need help with distribution.
If you can help or need ideas on what to donate, please contact Pam Caffey @ the Church Office
